This plant stand may be made of pine, poplar, or, if open-grained wood is desired, chestnut or oak. The piece is suitable for a porch or inside of house. The decoration on middle slat is suggestive only. Simple veining or relief carving may be used, or the more difficult problem of inlaying may be introduced.
